โฮมเพจ / write out on milling stage of bio methane digestor of slurry system
The digester is fed with a mixture of water and wastes, called "slurry." Inside the digester, each daily load of fresh slurry flows in one end and displaces the previous day's load which bacteria and other microbes have already started to digest. Each load progresses down the length of the digester to a point where the methane bacteria are active.

รายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมAnaerobic Digestion: Biogas Production and Odor Reduction. Controlled anaerobic, or oxygen-free, digestion of animal manure is a way to treat manure to prevent foul odor production while generating a usable energy product. Under the right conditions, liquid manure will break down into biogas and a low-odor effluent.
รายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมA wet digester or low solids AD system generally processes feedstock with less than 15 percent solids content. The feedstocks for a wet digester are typically in slurry form and can be pumped. A dry digester or a high solids AD system generally processes feedstock with greater than 15 percent solids content.
รายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมThis will just dump out to a 5-gallon bucket for now, but I may add an overflow tank later on. Note the upturned entrance to the overflow tube inside the digester. This ensures that only fluid will enter the tube and that the system doesn't airlock. Also note the multiple adapters it took to get from 3/4-inch PVC to 1-1/2-inch sink drain piping.

รายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมIf the rate of bacteria lost from the digester with the effluent slurry exceeds the methanogen growth rate, the bacterial population in the digester will be Uwashed out" of the system. Washout is avoided by maintaining a sufficient residence time for solids, and thus bacterial cells remain in optimal concentration within the digester.
