For what it's worth, they do make an import mini Bridgeport knock-off. Looks sorta like a 2J but sized like the little Clausing. There's also the "medium-light" duty 0.5hp Series 1 M-Head and the round ram M-Heads as well as the original 1hp J-Heads. And then there are the C and T heads which also might be considered "small bridgeports".
